Reports & Results

You’ll receive your comprehensive battery health report via email within 24 hours of your inspection. For urgent pre-purchase inspections, we can often provide a preliminary verbal summary on-site and deliver the full written report within a few hours.
Your report includes clear explanations of each metric, including State of Health (SOH), capacity, and performance indicators. Every report comes with a plain-English summary and a traffic-light rating system. If you have questions after reading the report, our team is available to walk you through the findings.
Absolutely. Your report is delivered as a PDF that can be easily shared with dealers, private sellers, mechanics, insurers, or financiers. The report includes your vehicle’s VIN and inspection details, making it suitable for use in price negotiations or warranty claims.
Reports are delivered as a professionally formatted PDF document. It includes diagnostic data, technician notes, a summary scorecard, and recommendations.

Service Questions

It depends on your situation. If you’re buying a used EV, choose our Pre-Purchase Inspection. For ongoing peace of mind, our Standard Health Check is ideal. If you suspect a specific issue or need warranty documentation, our Comprehensive Diagnostic is the most thorough option. Contact us if you’re unsure and we’ll recommend the right fit.
All packages include a battery State of Health (SOH) measurement and a written report. Higher-tier packages add cell-level analysis, charging system diagnostics, thermal performance testing, and a more detailed written assessment. Full package comparisons are available on our Services page.
We service most major EV brands including Tesla, BYD, Polestar, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, MG, and more. If you’re unsure whether we cover your specific model, get in touch and we’ll confirm before booking.
Our mobile service currently covers most metropolitan areas. Enter your postcode on our booking page to check coverage in real time. For locations outside our standard service area, we may still be able to attend for an additional travel fee — contact us to discuss.

Technical Support

State of Health (SOH) is a percentage that represents your battery’s current capacity compared to when it was new. A new battery has an SOH of 100%. Most EV batteries are considered healthy above 80%, while readings below 70% may indicate significant degradation. Our reports include detailed context for your specific vehicle’s expected range at its current SOH.
Most EV manufacturers offer battery warranties of 8 years or 160,000km, typically guaranteeing the battery retains at least 70% of its original capacity. Our diagnostic reports include the data needed to support a warranty claim if your battery is underperforming. We can also help you understand your specific manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are standardised codes that indicate specific issues with your EV’s battery or related systems. Our reports translate these codes into plain English and explain their severity, likely causes, and recommended next steps. If you need help interpreting codes from another source, our team can assist.
Different EV models have known characteristics and common issues — for example, certain early Nissan Leaf models are prone to faster degradation without active thermal management, while some Tesla models can experience cell imbalance over time. Our technicians are trained on model-specific concerns and will flag any known issues relevant to your vehicle in the report.
